No, he's not a Cowboy. Daniel Magus grew up in Cleveland Ohio. He probably had mistaken the pony for a large dog of some sort. To hear him tell it: " I remember this like it was yesterday. The photo guy and his giant dog arrived out front. My mom insisted I mount the thing. They made me wear chaps, six-shooters, a vest and cowboy hat. I kicked and screamed until they took that stuff off. After all, I am wearing moccasins!" Dan has been fighting conventions ever since. However, he's not nearly as snappy a dresser! Need photos?
