General Meeting Notes
10/07/2009
General Business:
Welcome by Barry Glassman, President
Committee Reports –
House Tour – Sue Noonan –
The House Tour is next Sunday, the 18th. Sue has posters if anyone would like to put one up in their window.
Land Use – Virgil Bartram –
There is a new zoning law. That is the topic for the next meeting.
Flea Market – Tori Simms –
Thanks to all of the volunteers. The Fall 2009 Flea Market was the most successful ever.
Education – Tori Simms –
We invited the teachers and administrators from both elementary schools to the flea market and gave them a coupon for a free meal. There was a pretty good turn out, and the hope is that this will increase in the future so that more of the educators know about the park and the neighborhood.
Streetscape – Carol Richman, Co-Chair –
The next event is the neighborhood cleanup on October 17th before the House Tour.
The dumpster will be here the Thursday before that.
Harris Creek Watershed – Barry Glassman
There will be tour of the watershed, including the entry into the harbor this Saturday. If anyone is interested in attending contact Barry.
Other Business – Speaker – Howard Ehrenfeld – Using Your Digital Camera
Howard gave an enlightening presentation on the tips for optimizing the usage of your digital camera.
