Billy Motel, President
I’ve lived in Butchers Hill for more than 10 years with my wife and our two elementary school-aged kids. One of the things I love most about the neighborhood is its connection to Patterson Park, which I truly believe is one of Baltimore’s greatest assets. Outside of work and neighborhood activities, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, whether that means grilling with friends, skiing, surfing, or playing squash. I’m passionate about building community and helping make Butchers Hill an even better place to live for families, neighbors, and future residents alike.

Jane Brown, Vice President
Jane has lived in Butchers Hill for over 25 years and still thinks it’s the greatest neighborhood ever. When work travel slowed down, she embraced the opportunity to serve on the board and get to know even more of the amazing people who live in this community. You can often see her in Patterson Park with her sweet dog Sadie- who would love nothing more than for you to stop and say hello.
-

Stephanie Khanna, Vice President
Stephanie moved to Baltimore with her husband in 2014 thinking it would be temporary — and never left. She fell in love with being part of a thriving community and is committed to helping make it a better place for everyone who lives here. At home, life is kept interesting by her elementary school-aged son Sufi, a cat who is constantly plotting his great escape outside, and a dog you'll likely spot her walking in Patterson Park. She's an avid sewist- if you give her fabric, she will make you something beautiful out of it!

Arch McKown, Parliamentarian
Arch and his wife Sarah are proud to call Butchers Hill home, where they are raising their two sons and staying active in the neighborhood and broader Southeast Baltimore community. Since 2007, Arch has been deeply involved in public safety and community advocacy efforts, helping connect residents with law enforcement, city agencies, and neighborhood organizations to improve communication, coordination, and quality of life across SE Baltimore.
An avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, Arch enjoys spending time with family and friends in Patterson Park and throughout the neighborhood. He values Butchers Hill’s historic character, walkability, green spaces, and strong sense of community that make it such a special place to live.
